Job Description
Neuberger Berman is seeking a proactive developer to support the firms enterprise data platform initiatives. This individual will focus on developing maintaining and optimizing components of the enterprise data platform to enable the firms datadriven innovation and operational excellence. This individual will work closely with crossfunctional teams to implement technical solutions and ensure the seamless delivery of data capabilities across the organization.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated and technically proficient professional looking to contribute to the firms data and analytics vision while furthering their expertise in modern data technologies and cloudbased solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design development and deployment of data platform components focusing on scalability performance and security.
- Develop and maintain data ingestion storage processing and publication pipelines using tools such as Snowflake Kafka Spark and Data Bricks.
- Collaborate with senior developers and platform architects to implement cloudnative solutions on platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Support the development of data engineering pipelines to enable analytics and machine learning capabilities.
- Contribute to the integration of the enterprise data platform with other systems to ensure seamless data flow and usability for stakeholders across the firm.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing platform components to improve performance and reliability.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve platform capabilities and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data governance security and privacy standards in all development activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in data engineering platform development or similar roles.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is required; a masters degree is a plus.
- Handson experience with data platform tools such as Java Kafka Spark Snowflake and Data Bricks.
- Familiarity with technologies for data ingestion storage processing and analytics.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure or Google Cloud) and cloud deployment models.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with largescale data systems.
- Foundational knowledge of data governance data security and best practices for enterprise data management.
- Understanding of scalable data pipelines and workflows to support analytics and business intelligence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a teamoriented environment.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges independently.
- Desire to stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to the firms data innovation.

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $110000$135000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location business sector performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics market benchmarking data any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus which along with base salary and retirement contributions is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance 401(k) life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus commission production or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Companys sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Companys sole discretion consistent with the law.
