Job Description
Growing Triad company searching for a Staff Accountant to join their growing team in this industryleading company! The Staff Accountant will work directly with the Controller and senior leadership in performing a variety of responsibilities including:
- Record A/P A/R and credit card activity into general ledger system
- Ensure disbursements are handled appropriately
- Perform daily bank deposits and record receivables correctly
- Support month end and year end close process
- Assist in preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare sales/use tax returns and other annual reports as needed
- Special projects and other support as needed
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant include:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting strongly preferred
- 2 years of experience working in accounting department for an established organization
- Track record of meeting deadlines
- Ability to work in a high energy environment with a service first attitude
