Please note training for this role will include flying out to Calgary for one week.

What your day to day will look like:
This is a very autonomous role that will work remotely and be on the road 100 of the time. The company van will act as your traveling office and warehouse. Business hours are Monday to Friday 8am 4:30pm. You will be reporting directly into the National Service Manager.
This position will take care of 32 sites travel will include locations in Kitchener Barrie Hamilton Midland Collingwood Wasaga Orilla Goderich and Pembrooke.
- Service calls; Complete service calls and work orders as requested including accurate labour costs data entry issuing and tracking inventory transporting equipment repairing machine issues and maintaining/ refurbishing used equipment when necessary.
- Maintenance; Ensure service van is in safe operating condition. Restock inventory in van as necessary ensuring adequate parts and tools levels.
- Reporting; Update and maintain accurate records of inventory work orders equipment and maintenance schedules.
- Inquiries; respond in a timely manner to all inquiries and provide information regarding the status of repairs and equipment.
- Travel; 40 local travel and 60 travel larger region within a 250KM radius. Flexibility to respond to business needs which may include 10 overtime a month.
What youll need to succeed:
- Must have 13 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or repair roles.
- Maintain a valid drivers license in good standing to operate company van.
- Tech savvy with the ability to easily navigate computer systems and technologies. Ability to comprehend service manuals and schematics for all service equipment.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all clients internal departments and vendors. Ability to deal diplomatically with different personalities and present professionally at all times.
- Ideal candidate is a self starter lone wolf that enjoys being on the road great with clients and a knack for servicing/ repairing equipment.
