Job Description
- Answering phones responding to emails processing mail filing and other basic office tasks.
- Maintaining a database and ensuring that all records are complete and up to date.
- Forms are processed and filed after the information is recorded.
- Checks deposits budgets and financial reports must all be prepared.
- Updating ledgers conducting research and settling discrepancies
- All company procedures and accounting rules must be followed.
- Responding to the vendor client and internal demands correctly.
- Making certain that the Accounting Department functions smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required although more education and experience are often desirable.
- Accounting methods and principles must be thoroughly understood.
- When dealing with sensitive financial information ethical behavior is required.
- Excellent accuracy and efficiency.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Courteous professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Computer literacy and strong typing abilities are necessary as as knowledge with accounting software.
- Pay attention to the details.
- Willingness to follow all financial restrictions imposed by the company the local state and federal governments.
