Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Marketing and Supply Chain Management Department at Appalachian State University invites applications for two nontenure track ninemonth Practitioner in Residence faculty position beginning Spring of 2024. This position will primarily serve Appalachian States new campus in Hickory NC. The Practitioner in Residence will teach four 4 marketing classes per semester and develop programming to engage the business community. Primary teaching duties will be inperson courses and holding office hours on the Hickory campus. Teaching duties may also include online and/or hybrid courses or inperson courses in Boone NC.
Minimum Qualifications
A Masters degree in Marketing or MBA is required. Additionally the candidate will have 1015 years of relevant industry experience.
