You will guide and influence the team to ensure the solution they deliver achieves the desired business objectives and meets the needs of our customers.

InthisRoleYourResponsibilitiesWillBe:

  • Provide thevoice of the customerto the team to ensure they understand how the work they are doing relates to the needs of the business and our customers.
  • Collaborate with your teamto define the teams objectives and ensure the team remains passionate about meeting those objectives.
  • Work with product managers todefine featuresfor development in the future.
  • Lead the teams backlogandprioritize user storiesto meet the needs of the business and our customer in the most effective way possible.
  • Identify handle andcoordinatedependencieswith other teams.
  • Actively seek feedbackfrom business customers and relay it to the team

ForThisRoleYouWillNeed:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a field related to Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • confirmed experience in process control industry with at least 5 years in a Product Owner role handling and delivering medium to large projects systems or programs working with or within a technology division with exposure to software product development
  • Solid domain knowledge of process control and the application to control systems
  • Technical savvy for working with software developers and testers and understanding technical specifications of the product
  • Problemsolving and analytical abilities to interpret customer needs into functional specifications and user stories
  • Communication skills to comfortably work with partners across the organization including executive management decisionmakers developers testers and project managers
  • Experience with agile methodologies Scrum SAFe product strategy business analysis product roadmap
  • Experience with Visio Lucid chart; DevOps UX wireframing
  • Technical savvy for working with software developers and testers and understanding technical specifications of the product
  • Problemsolving and analytical abilities to interpret customer needs into functional specifications and user stories
  • Communication skills to comfortably work with partners across the organization including executive management decisionmakers developers testers and project managers

PreferredQualificationsthatSetYouApart

  • Experience in developing products that integrate software on multiple platforms with proprietary hardware
  • Experience with ISOcertified processes and audits secure lifecycle development and/or development of products for use in a SIL environment
  • SAFe / Product Owner Certification
