WHO YOU ARE:
As a Sr. Software Engineer I Tech Lead you will be a key technical leader and role model within the organization. We are looking for a technical lead who designs and develops technology to serve business and technology objectives aligns points of view across teams and makes trade offs to help achieve the goals of individual teams as well as Zinnias broader goals. You will foster Zinnias culture and values around be bold team up; & deliver value. You will work closely with technical leadership and management within and outside our organization to contribute to building bestinclass core systems infrastructure for Zinnia.
WHAT YOULL DO:
- Work as part of a global crossfunctional team to develop innovative software for Zinnia stakeholders.
- Contribute to projects by creating welldesigned customized testable efficient code for company platforms.
- Assist our teams in providing ongoing support troubleshooting improvements or custom enhancements to existing company platforms.
- Occasionally participate in oncall rotations and/or provide afterhours support.
- Collaborate with our global teams internal stakeholders and customers.
- Act as a subject matter expert for junior team members.
- Assist or lead in defining the requirements for custom built software projects.
WHAT YOULL NEED:
- 811 years of experience in Backend technologies like Java J2EE Spring Microservices.
- Patience and perseverance to overcome challenges solve problems and learn new computer languages and techniques.
- Ability to comprehend business problems and provide solutions for Automated Straight Through Processing (STP).
- Design endtoend BPM Models with enterprise scale applications integrating different systems with SOA/Microservice Architecture.
- Industry exposure to BFSI domain especially Insurance.
- Excellent work ethic. Ability to work and travel independently.
- Effective communication interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Effective troubleshooting skills.
Preferred/Optional Skills:
- Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) and design patterns
- Programming using Java 8/J2EE
- Competence and comfort using multiple frameworks Spring Spring Boot
- SOA/Microservice Architecture
- Knowledge and experience with REST
- Git Maven Docker
