Job Description
Who You Are:
We are currently looking to add a Senior Data Analyst Sends to our growing team. This seasoned data analyst to become a key player in our Data Product team working with our product & engineering teams to support product development. Successful candidates will be responsible for empowering our team with meaningful data validating new products and features identifying optimization opportunities and utilizing automation techniques to improve team efficiency. The candidate will be working on a myriad of projects and efforts including many driven by their own insights and findings. Theres never a dull moment; repetitive tasks are nonexistent. Theres an absolutely incredible amount you will learn here and youll be working with one of the largest user behavior datasets in existence. Data is your passion youre eager to learn and youre ready to fully exercise your skillset.
What Youll Do:
- Manage projects of the Analytics Team
- Design develop and maintain new data sets
- Perform rigorous audits of existing data for validity
- Create and maintain alerts (Looker) to monitor product health and data integrity
- Reduce the cost of data infrastructure with data minimization & query optimization
- Automate existing redundant tasks using data and tools like Looker and Airflow
- Proactively identify analytical opportunities to unlock revenue for our clients
- Work with crossdepartmental key stakeholders to prioritize projects and translate business needs to analytics needs
- Partner with product & engineering teams on the forefront of product development to build products outline data requirements & execute on vision
- Work with members of the analytics team to hit KPI targets and ship new analytics products
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in data & analytics 1 years with relevant industry experience)
- Can perform advanced data transformations in SQL and Excel
- Experience using business intelligence tools like Looker to make data available to a broader audience
- Can utilize scripting languages like python & R to complete advanced analyses of massive datasets
- Can design & create thoughtful queries that identify outliers & unexpected changes in business metrics
- Comfortable reporting on the performance of digital marketing A/B tests
- Experience working with abstract concepts & simplifying requirements for easier consumption
- Comfortable balancing urgent adhoc data needs while tracking longerterm projects
- Comfortable using basic statistics concepts
- Strong technical skills business sense & clear communicator

The base salary range for this role is $110000 to $140000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set depth of experience applicable certifications and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
