We are looking for a Head of Consumer Product Marketing to partner closely with our Roblox User and Discovery groups. For the User group you will own the go to market for critical initiatives collaborating crossfunctionally to deliver impactful products that promote connection communication coexperience (joining together) and content sharing. For the Discovery group our vision is for every user to discover the next best action and that every creation connects to the right audience. Our Discovery systems leverage real time signals advanced machine learning techniques and user interface/experience changes to compel users to join the right experiences. Youll help drive the go to market strategy across notable Roblox product surfaces including Home Charts and Search.
You will report to the Sr Director Head of Product Marketing. This role is located at our headquarters in San Mateo California. #LIHybrid
You will:
- Lead a team driving the marketing strategy messaging positioning and channel planning for critical complex and trailblazing areas of investment across our User and Discovery Group products.
- Develop compelling evergreen content that educates users and all partners (developers creators brands influencers etc. on the product experience that drives usage and engagement.
- Anticipate movement within our competitive space and users to predict market trends and product needs.
- Cultivate deep crosscollaboration between Product Engineering Marketing Comms Partnerships and Developer teams. Become a trusted advisor to these departments. Ability to drive alignment with leadership on compelling strategies and sensitive topics.
- Effectively communicate product details internally and externally. The goal is to make sure that all internal partners are fully uptospeed on launch details and external partners have a smooth onboarding on any changes to their experience.
- Liaise with Product Management to support the vision for our roadmap through the eyes of our key audiences users and developers.
- Collect and communicate compelling feedback to fuel consistent improvement to existing products and communication.
- Report to the Sr. Director Head of Product Marketing.
You have:
- 10 years of product marketing experience preferably with a leading global platform (content social marketplace etc).
- Experience leading omnichannel product marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in messaging positioning and marketing/content strategy.
- Track record of driving crossfunctional alignment and working closely with product stakeholders at all levels.
- Effective being handson with individual projects and proven track record to lead multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven experience delivering results in a fastpaced and multifaceted business environment.
- Skills in delivering presentations providing recommendations and influencing decisionmaking at the executive level.
- High attention to detail including precise and effective communications.
- Managing experience providing strategic guidance clear performance metrics and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Familiarity navigating safety and regulatory landscapes as well as handling perceived risks with suitable product and messaging solutions.
