As the Maintenance Manager youll be at the forefront of ensuring our property remains in peak conditionenhancing our facilities optimizing operational efficiencies and delivering toptier guest experiences. Your leadership will drive a culture of excellence innovation and continuous improvement.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a robust departmental plan with measurable objectives that align with our companys vision. This includes preparing and managing Operating and Capital budgets.
Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with Managers Supervisors and Ambassadors to identify operational needs bridge gaps and implement impactful solutions.
Proactive Maintenance Management: Stay ahead of the curveforecasting needs prioritizing repairs and coordinating capital upgrades in collaboration with the Hotel management team.
Resource & Budget Management: Plan and allocate resources wisely ensuring departmental budgets are met while maximizing efficiency.
Compliance & Safety Leadership: Maintain compliance with health safety and employment regulations (WCB OH&S employment standards).
Team Empowerment: Lead motivate and develop a highperforming maintenance team. Delegate tasks set goals provide ongoing feedback and inspire excellence.
Service Excellence: Proactively resolve guest concerns remove barriers to exceptional service and ensure seamless operations.
Adaptability & ProblemSolving: Anticipate and respond to changing needsespecially during special events and highoccupancy periods.

Physical Mobility & Stamina Youre handson and ready to tackle challenges headon.
Education & Training Secondary School Diploma required. A Bachelors Degree Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus!
Trade Qualification Certification in one or more areas (electrical plumbing HVAC or refrigeration) is highly desirable.
Leadership Experience Minimum of 3 years Journeyman Status with at least 2 years leading a team.
Contracting & Trades Knowledge Strong experience working with contractors and subtrades.
Technical Skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite budgeting and forecasting.
Regulatory & Safety Expertise WHMIS training and indepth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
ProblemSolving Pro & Conflict Resolution Skills Ability to navigate challenges with confidence and diplomacy.
Flexible Schedule Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
