The position is responsible for planning organizing and executing Community Outreach events to support growth activities for Highpoint Health.
Reports to: Director Marketing & Communications
Serves as lead on assigned Community Outreach events as assigned by the Director or CEO.
Plans organizes and executes Outreach events soliciting staff support to make events their most effective in our growth and business development initiatives.
Must be available to attend community events including nights and weekends.
Edit internal and external marketing and communications materials and ensuring consistency of message and brand identity.
Generate content for internal and external publications press releases collateral social media websites and advertising as needed.
Support the HSC Communications and Marketing Departments on additional projects and tasks as needed.
Minimum EducationBachelors degree in Communications Marketing Journalism Public Relations or related field Preferred
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Excellent writing and editing skills needed. Public relations skills graphic design photography basic video filming and editing skills website CMS knowledge basic HTML knowledge and experience with managing social media content for brands or businesses.
