SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 5AM 2PM


GENERAL SCOPE: Opportunity to use pride and passion for Olympic Eagle products to help provide operational support to create and maintain an image of being the leader in the market. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all Olympic Eagle Distributing lift trucks trailers and onsite equipment while coordinating services for on the road fleet of vehicles. This person must be a teamplayer while still being able to work independently and meet high expectations held by Olympic Eagle. Fulltime position.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops schedule maintains records and performs periodic maintenance services for all lift truck and onsite equipment.
  • Performs diagnostics and repairs on site and in the field as necessary for all lift truck and trailer equipment.
  • Maintains a record log for all equipment worked on.
  • Reviews and logs DOT pre & post trip sheets for issues and concerns.
  • Coordinates and monitors all outsourced work to ensure quality work while minimizing costs for on the road fleet vehicles.
  • Never compromise safety: Always use familiar tools PPEs and safety cones as necessary.
  • Notify supervisor of safety concerns.
  • Assist as needed for various projects or jobs as requested.
  • Ensures all Olympic Eagle Distributing vehicles are in safe working condition and comply with all state and federal regulations.
  • Knows and understands rules and laws of the State of Washington as well as Federal regulations.

Olympic Eagle provides company sponsored Life and LongTerm Disability Insurance to all Full Time Employees. Employees are able to enroll themselves and their families in medical dental and vision insurance. 401k is provided to nonunion employees. Union employees will be part of a pension program. Employees will also receive 8 paid holidays and up to 40 hours of vacation after the first year of employment. This will increase to 80 hours at 2 years. We follow the Washington State Sick Leave for sick time accruals.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to regularly and frequently lift a maximum of 100 lbs required
  • Must have a valid Washington State Drivers License and be insurable required
  • Must have previous experience working on a lift trucks and trailers required
  • Experience working with battery and charging systems
  • Experience working with hydraulic warehouse equipment i.e. wrapping machines and bailers

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Working on various vehicles including passenger cars/vans/trucks commercial trucks and trailers.
  • Subject to typical shop working conditions
  • May be required to work outside in various weather conditions
Salary Description
$36$46/hour
