Position Overview
QinetiQ has an immediate opening for a Front End Developer supporting federal law enforcement. We are specifically looking for someone who has experience migrating legacy systems and implementing security controls as part of the DevOps process. QinetiQ has a full shop of dedicated software developers engineers data scientists and security professionals that this position will reside under the Data and Technology Group. We are looking for an experienced technologist to fill this role as well as fit within our development culture for continued growth and development.
The candidate will work with stakeholders in collecting requirements designing testing implementing and maintaining core application softwareusing HTML CSS and Angular framework.
Responsibilities
- Create user interfaces for web applications using HTML CSS and Angular framework. Implement complex and large Angular applications directives services and components.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI team members to transform designs and wireframes into polished code.
- Ensure that applications are responsive and optimized for maximum speed and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues and bugs to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Work alongside backend developers to integrate frontend logic with serverside functionality web services and databases.
- Stay uptodate with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and industry standards.
- Design fluid and responsive pages.
- Establish and adhere to product style guides for a consistent user experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Frontend developer with a focus on Angular/TypeScript and an expertlevel knowledge of frontend technologies UX/UI and layout aesthetics.
- Strong expertise in HTML CSS and JavaScript with the ability to write crossbrowser compatible code.
- Demonstrated ability to create selfcontained reusable and testable modules and components in Angular in particular grid controls.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
- Flourish in a highly collaborative team environment fostering effective communication and contributing positively to collective goals and outcomes.
- Exhibit critical thinking and problemsolving skills to address complex challenges.
- Excellent analytical multitasking and timemanagement skills enabling you to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to excel in a fastpaced work environment and manage changing priorities effectively.
- Indepth understanding of the entire web development process encompassing design development and deployment.
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git/Gitlab.
- Handson experience with Rest API RESTful services JWT and asynchronous request handling.
Requires: Bachelors and nine 9 years or more of related experience; Masters and seven 7 years or more of related experience ; PhD or JD and four 4 years or more of related experience.
Must posses an active Secret clearance and must be willing to work at client site in Arlington VA 5 days per week.
