Teach and supervise safe group classes programs and/or workshops that engage and educate participants.
Provide positive reinforcement and encourage a fun and supportive atmosphere.
Demonstrate safe and proper techniques provide instruction in specific skills and assist participants with improvement and safe progression appropriate to the class.
Outline and plan class activities within City guidelines.
Prepare and monitor the classroom for safety; ensure all equipment is available and functioning properly.
Provide outstanding service pursue continuous improvement and exceed expectations.

Qualifications
What you will need to be considered:
At least 18 years of age by time of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience teaching leading and motivating participants in the subject you are teaching.
College degree in subject matter or certification preferred.
Excellent interpersonal verbal communication and customer service skills.
Ability to remain poised positive courteous and professional at all times.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (can be obtained through the City upon hire).
The physical skills and abilities required to prepare for and instruct the class or program.
Or any acceptable equivalent combination of education experience and training that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities to satisfactorily perform job duties.
