Who We Are

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board (KPR) offers a worldclass education for approximately 35000 students in 87 schools. The purpose of the Payroll Clerk position is to provide clerical services to the Payroll Team in generating and maintaining payroll and pension plan records for all employees.

Qualifications Required

  • In Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or;Good Standing with Terms Conditions or Limitations (Transitional Certificate).
  • A police record check with a Vulnerable Sector Search and Pardoned Sexual Offenders Database Search dated within 6 months prior to the date of hire is a requirement for employment.
  • French and Intermediate Geography

This long term occasional position is posted and filled in accordance with the Secondary Occasional Teachers Collective Agreement.


Eligibility for Internal Applicants
  • An occasional teacher currently in a longterm position that will not conclude by the start date of this position is not eligible to apply to this posting unless the occasional teacher can accommodate the position with their existing position.
  • Notwithstanding the above those occasional teachers who are currently in an open ended LTO are eligible to apply for positions that start the first day of Semester#2 in accordance with article L 15.03.
