Member of global payroll and benefits department (Corporate Human Resources) based in NY/NJ. Work closely with HRIS payroll and HR Business Partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in administration of US health and welfare programs including health insurance life insurance accident insurance short and longterm disability leave and workers compensation
- Assist in US wellness program for employees including organization of annual flu shots and numerous health and fitness programs offered throughout the year
- Assistance with daytoday administration of the Benefits function
- First point of contact for general/ad hoc queries for the team. Managing multiple inboxes.
- Conduct New Hire Benefits Orientation
- Coordinates HRIS data entry including Qualifying Events COBRA administration Open Enrollment etc.
- Respond to emails in shared Benefit mailbox and phone inquiries
- Prepares reports for management and ad hoc projects as needed
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations including ERISA ACA COBRA FMLA ADA Workers Compensation Medicare Social Security and DOL requirements
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (HCM)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Windows applications
- Ability to work within a metricsdriven transactional type environment
- Good oral and written communication
Experience Required:
- Minimum .52 years of experience inhouse administration
- Minimum .52 years of experience in health plan administration
Education Required:
- Bachelors degree in human resources business or related field from accredited fouryear university required
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $70000 $75000.
