Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking an HR Officer to join their team in Jeffreys Bay. The company operates in the wind energy industry and is a specialist mechanical and electrical engineering service provider offering services to both private and public sector clients.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the full HR function including recruitment onboarding and offboarding.
Ensure compliance with labor laws company policies and industry regulations.
Administer payroll employee benefits and compensation structures.
Handle industrial relations matters including dispute resolution and disciplinary procedures.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Maintain accurate HR records and compile reports for management.
Facilitate training and development programs for employees.
Foster a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement initiatives.
Assist with performance management and succession planning.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or diploma in Human Resources Industrial Relations or a related field.
Minimum of 35 years experience in an HR Officer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience in the renewable energy engineering or industrial sectors is advantageous.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal communication and conflictresolution skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
