TheStreet a leading authority in business and financial news is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to become the face of our video content across platforms to represent our brand YouTube Meta Instagram TikTok X our own website and any other applicable outlets. We are looking for a storyteller with a passion for business markets and finance. Our goal: delivering engaging standups voiceovers and both virtual and inperson interviews that keep our audience informed and inspired.
This highimpact role will put you at the heart of the actionwhether conducting interviews at the NYSE anchoring studio segments or producing highquality directtocamera narratives. Youll work closely with the talented video team to ensure consistent compelling and freshvideo and social mediacontent with a unique perspective that solidifies TheStreet as a leader in financial journalism.
The Arena Groups expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $150000$225000. Actual salaries will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to location education experience and other factors permitted by law. The listed salary range is but one component of The Arena Groups total compensation and benefits available to its employees.
What Youll Do:
Write host and produce highquality insightful video content that captivates our audience.
Conduct oncamera interviews and directtocamera segments at the NYSE and other field or studio locations.
Pitch write and produce scripts for standups voiceovers and interviews.
Partner with editorial and social media teams to ensure consistent onbrand content across all platforms.
Leverage SEO best practices to optimize video discoverability and increase viewership.
Maintain a smooth and effective production process for all video projects.
When not filming inperson be able to write or record other hosting content from home / office.
Take on new video initiatives as assigned by the video & executive teams.
Audience Engagement chops are a must consistently fostering a welcoming and interactive environment by responding to viewer questions comments and feedback during live sessions.
Strategize to grow viewership enhance participation and build a loyal audience base..
What Youll Bring:
Strong researching and writing experience especially for video scripts and digital platforms.
Digitalfirst experience (open to TV experience too! with a reel/portfolio/sample clipsrequired.
Prior knowledge of or a keen interest in business markets and/or financial news.
Professional representation of TheStreets brand and becoming a trusted face for our audience.
A team player who thrives in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
A strong social media following and/or fluency in that space is essential for this position with proven experience with YouTube and other major social media platforms.
