Now Accepting Applications for the Spring/Summer Semester starting May 2025:
This position supports the colleges Social Media Marketing team in promoting the colleges brand through social media platforms. This position provides handson experience in social content creation. The ideal candidate is creative selfmotivated and passionate about social media marketing.All qualified applicants meet the following criteria:
a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours
currently have a workstudy award given by Financial Aid If you have not received an award or are not sure fill out and submit this formand contact with questions.***You will be marked DISQUALIFIED if you do not have a current award.***
Job Responsibilities
- Attend campus events to capture content for social media platforms
- Participate in oncamera appearances for social media content
- Assist in brainstorming content ideas and ways to increase user engagement
- Assist in researching industry best practices trends and emerging social media platforms
Education
High school graduate. Currently enrolled as a Macomb Community College student. Relevant course work and an interest in marketing/social media is preferred.
Qualifications
Prior experience working as a social media assistant or coordinator is preferable but not necessary.
