Minimum Qualifications
A Masters or higher degree which includes coursework in nursing education or administration. If degree other than nursing submit information verifying coursework in nursing education. AND ALL OF THE FOLLOWING : Possess minimum qualifications established by the California Board of Registered Nursing 1. Completion of at least one 1 years experience teaching courses related to registered nursing or completion of a postbaccalaureate course which includes practice in teaching registered nursing. 2. Direct patient care experience within the previous five 5 years in the nursing area to which he or she is assigned which can be met by: a . One 1 years continuous fulltime or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in the designated nursing area; b. Or One 1 academic year of registered nurse level teaching experience in the designated nursing area or its equivalent 3. Possess or be eligible for and obtain a current California Registered Nursing license. 4. Possess current Health Care Provider Basic Life Support Certification. Commitment to diversity.
