The Senior Computer Vision Engineer will develop refine and deploy computer vision algorithms for autonomous flight applications and integrate them onto robotics platforms that range from small drones to helicopters. This position will focus on developing an AI pipeline and machine learning (ML) algorithms. You will use ML infrastructure to implementsolutions to identify the world and track objects within sight.
As a Senior engineer you will provide technical leadership to guide projects through the complete lifecycle from conception through production.We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated independent thinkers passionate about stateoftheart technology; also selfstarting empathetic team players and strong communicators. The ideal candidate for this position can multitask effectively is comfortable working on a quick development tempo is comfortable testing software in the field and most importantly enjoys bringing new autonomy technology to life.
Due to the nature of Near Earths funding this position requires US citizenship or Permanent Resident status. Due to the nature of our federal contracts this position is subject to successful completion of a background check
