The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking Real Time Software Engineers Associate Experienced and Senior to join the F/A18 Mission Systems organization located in Berkeley MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
Our Air Dominance software engineers design develop and demonstrate avionics solutions for the platforms we build and upgrade. Your efforts will assist integration of innovative technologies to maintain our platforms dominance over the battlefield for many decades to come.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to join the F/A18 Mission Systems software team and support various capabilities across Weapons systems Electronic Warfare Displays Vehicle Health Management and more.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs develops tests and maintains nonembedded software throughout the endtoend lifecycle that meets industry customer safety and regulation standards
Reviews analyzes and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products. Develops maintains enhances and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations
Develops documents and maintains architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and designs for software products
Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products. Handles user inquiries troubleshoots technical issues and user feedback analysis
Implements current and emerging technologies tools frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
Develops establishes monitors and improves software processes tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks
Plans executes and documents software research and development projects
Advises on software domains systemspecific issues processes and regulations
Performs software project management activities and software supplier management functions
Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (PostStart).
Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Experience with C C Java Ada and/or Python
2 plus years experience working in a project where various software development methodologies are being utilizing
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
Software development experience in a collaborative team environment using agile principles and a structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools
Experience using team collaboration tools including Git Bitbucket JIRA and Confluence
Experience in software development using languages such as C C Java Ada and/or Python

Summary pay range for Experienced: $107100.00 $144900.00.
Summary pay range for Senior: $127500.00 $172500.00.
