Primary Purpose
The EMT Lab Assistant is responsible to assist the paramedic course director in the education and evaluation of student performance in the lab experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist with instruction in the EMT course lab under the direction of the EMT course director/faculty member. Cooperate with other College personnel including the Paramedicine Program Director to assist students with career planning job placement and followup studies. Perform other essential functions as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
Minimum Requirements
AAS Paramedicine degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning that includes course work equivalent to the uniform associate of applied science degree in Paramedicine as approved by the Oregon State Board of Education and offered by Oregons community colleges. Experience: One year of paramedic prehospital emergency and nonemergency care experience. Licenses: Oregon EMT Certifications: Healthcare Provider CPR
Preferred Qualifications
Oregon Drivers License. Previous employment experience with a community college.
