About the Role:
3E is looking for a regulatory reporter who will be responsible for covering the Environment Health and Safety (EHS) policy legal developments and voluntary guidelines by regulatory bodies industry groups and associations in Europe.
As a Regulatory Reporter at 3E youll play a key role in helping our clients stay ahead of critical developments that impactproduct and workplace safety compliance and sustainability strategies.
Working in a highgrowth fastpaced environment you will research and write topics related to restricted substances packaging labeling storage requirements as well as sustainability with a focus on the supply chain.
As a key member of the EMEA News team you will attend press briefings conferences and other events in Europe and elsewhere publishing relevant hard news promptly and writing features that provide indepth analysis for 3E clients.
What Youll Do
- Research report and writetimely accurate and insightful news stories on key regulatory developments laws and industry shifts.
- Explore emerging trends in sustainability particularly those impacting supply chain practices and translate complex regulations into clear actionable analysis.
- Focus on areas such as REACH Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and Digital Product Passport (DPP)regulations turning complexity into clarity for our clients.
- Attend press briefings conferences and key industry events (inperson and virtually in the EMEA region) to stay ahead of what matters most to our clients.
- Deliver timely accurate hard news updates and craft engaging indepth feature stories that offer perspective and strategic insight to our global audience.
- Collaborate closely with 3Es editorial teamsto shape impactful content across platforms contributing to crosssector intelligence.
- Partner with product and commercial teamsto align news content with customer needsand help drive engagement across our broader suite of compliance solutions.
- Contribute to special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic fastmoving environment.
What Makes You A Great Fit
- Bachelors degree ideally in Journalism Communications Political Science Environmental Studies or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience reporting or writing accurate wellresearched and impartial news or feature stories.
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational skillswith an ability to meet tight editorial deadlines with consistent quality.
- Working knowledge of the European Unions legislative and regulatory processes particularly in EHS chemicals or sustainabilityrelated sectors.
- Ability to research and distill complex regulatory topicsinto concise accessible reporting.
- Strong sourcing skills an ability to proactivelybuild networks and cultivatetrusted relationships with experts and stakeholders.
- Comfortable speaking moderating or presenting at internal and external forums including industry events.
- Demonstrated ability to track and anticipate regulatory and policy trends.
- An analyticalmindset and a flair for creating datadriven insightrich stories that inform business decisions.
- Ability to work in an evolving global environment and make a direct impact on the content.
