Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Russottfinance Spa. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

Join the team at the Milan Marriott Hotel one of Milans most renowned hotels and lead our kitchen to new heights of culinary excellence. We are looking for an experienced and creative Executive Chef capable of inspiring and leading our kitchen team bringing innovation and high quality to our dishes.
To excel in this role you should have:
A deep knowledge of culinary techniques and industry trends.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
The ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities and responsibilities such as the continuous improvement of guests and employee satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Supervision and management of all kitchen operations ensuring the quality and impeccable presentation of dishes.
Development and creation of new menus ensuring a balance between tradition and culinary innovation.
Coordination and training of the kitchen team promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Control of supplies and budget management optimizing costs without compromising quality.
Monitoring compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
Collaboration with management to ensure an exceptional culinary experience for our guests.
Helping determines how food should be presented and creating decorative food displays.

Required Qualifications:
Significant experience in a similar role with 5 years of experience in international hotel brands in the culinary food and beverage industry or similar. Significant work experience abroad.
Excellent knowledge of the English language.
Deep knowledge of culinary techniques and hygiene standards.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage personnel and train the team.
Creativity and ability to innovate in the menu maintaining a high standard of quality.
Flexibility in working hours including evenings and weekends.
Standard and local knowledge (SOP and LSOPS) related to process management and work organization.
Desired Skills:
Passion for cooking and dedication to excellence.
Strong customer orientation and quality service.
Ability to work in a team and leadership skills establishing and maintaining open and collaborative relationships with employees and ensuring that employees do the same within the team even in particularly stressful situations.
Knowledge of current culinary trends and modern techniques.
Communication skills and ability to follow instructions always improving service communicating and helping people understand guest needs providing guidance feedback and individual coaching when necessary on any operational skills in all areas.
