Inviting applications for the role of Consultant Java Selenium API Automation DB Testing
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Consultant to join our team specializing in Java Selenium API Automation and Database (DB) Testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing automated tests managing automation frameworks and leading teams to deliver highquality software solutions. As a Lead Consultant you will work closely with clients to understand their requirements design effective testing strategies and ensure the delivery of robust and scalable software applications.
Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java and Selenium for functional regression and integration testing.
Create and execute automated API tests for RESTful web services using tools like Postman SoapUI or RestAssured ensuring API endpoints function as expected and meet performance benchmarks.
Perform database testing by writing and executing SQL queries to validate data accuracy integrity and consistency across various database systems.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (development QA business analysts) to understand requirements and translate them into test cases and automation scripts.
Implement best practices for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) ensuring automated tests are integrated into the development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot identify and document issues found during testing providing recommendations for solutions and working closely with development teams to resolve defects.
Generate and maintain detailed test reports track defects and provide insights to stakeholders on test coverage results and risks.
Continuously evaluate and improve automation processes exploring new tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong expertise in Java programming and developing Seleniumbased automation frameworks.
Experience in API automation using tools like RestAssured Postman or SoapUI.
Proficiency in database testing and writing complex SQL queries to validate data.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins Git Maven etc. and automation integration.
Experience with Agile methodologies and test management tools.
Preferred qualifications
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Leadership experience including leading teams managing projects and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. ISTQB certifications) are a plus.
