We are excited to offer an opportunity to join the team at MacKillop Education as a parttime Education Specialist based in Bendigo.
At MacKillop Education our mission is to promote equity and ensure access to education for all vulnerable and disengaged children and young people. In this role you will foster strong supportive professional relationships with students creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
You will play a key role in supporting young people in Therapeutic Residential Care (TRC) settings helping them to engage with education experience academic success and improve learning outcomes. By collaborating with support services youll develop and implement traumainformed engagement strategies to ensure highquality support. Apply now to be a part of our team and make a meaningful impact!
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with disengaged youth (ages 1217 with a preference for those who have supported students in outofhome care settings.
This is a Permanent PartTime 0.6 EFT 45.6 hours per fortnight) opportunity based in Bendigo within our MacKillop Education and Engagement Programs. The position reports to the Education Specialist Team Leader.
