Job Title: Sawmill Board Stacker Full Time
Location: Burnham ME
Reports To:Chris Blomgren Production Manager Craig Nealley Sawmill Supervisor

ABOUT THE POSITION:Great entry level position. Must be willing to work in fast paced environment. The Board Stackers job is to create value by safely removing assigned lumber grades from the green chain and stacking the boards on designated cob allowing for maximized process flow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To pull assigned lumber grade from green chain
- To stack the boardsand place properly aligned sticker boards between each layer of lumber.
- Misc. duties asassigned such as help others stack lumber when your assigned grade is not available.
- Perform cleanup in their respective areas or other areas as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to be cross trained on multiple positions within the Sawmill
- Willing to accept other tasks on and off the green chain different than regular assignment when asked.
SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication skills are necessary
- Ability to work around moving equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Must be able to safely navigate the production facility OSHA compliant. Normally this person is standing or walking around the facility interacting with team members. Appropriate safety shoes for standing on concrete flooring is recommended.
- Repetitive motions such as bending lifting and turning
- Required to lift retrieve or reposition products weighing up to 60 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT (SEE NEXT PAGE FOR EXAMPLES):
- Works in manufacturing & office environments. The noise level in the facility is usually moderate. Hearing protection is required and supplied.
