The Post Process Technician is responsible for trimming and manicuring cannabis flower. This position reports directly to the Post Process Manager and may be supervised by the Post Process Team Lead.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities
Precisely handsnipping undesirable fan leaves while maintaining quality assurance of each trimmed bud.
Removing dried buds from the stems or also known as bucking the plant.
Sorting and grading buds into categories such as Aquality popcorn/preroll or Bquality and Cquality or lab grade.
Wearing PPE/uniform at all times when working with product.
Operating and maintaining the departments Green Bros Dry Trimmer.
Bucking freshly harvested plant for fresh frozen extracts.
Destruction of unusable plant waste products such as stems or leaves.
Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all post process bins tools and equipment.
Regular workstation cleaning using rubbing alcohol.
Assist management with training new hires.
Maintaina continuous state of alertness to ensure the highest safety standards for fellow employees products and the facility.
Maintainaccurate and uptodate knowledge on state and local laws pertaining to adultuse and dispensing adultuse .
Follows established LRP policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts policies and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
Additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma GED or equivalent required.
College degree preferred.
Previous Massachusetts cannabis industry experience preferred.
Physical Requirement/Work Environment
Manufacturing work environment possibility of loud machinery noises.
Must have the ability to perform work related activities for up to 8 hours a day including repetitive motions and use of hands. Work activities may include use of scissor tools hands wrists and arms in a repetitive/continuous motion.
This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time as well as stooping bending over and/or crouching.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge
Knowledge of cannabis plant.
Knowledge and understanding of state and local cannabis laws and how they apply to the operations of Lazy River Products.

Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal or company regulation requirements for working in the industry.
Ability to work holidays outside of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
