Job Overview:
- Assist Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO) in defining agency goals and objectives as Bureau Chief of Financial Management Planning & Rate Setting and Advanced Planning Documents (APDs) which include rate adjustment cost settlement and federal funding request functions
- Collaborate with other Offices to develop and implement fiscal policy as defined by state and federal rules and regulations related to ODM administered programs
- Develop methods for reimbursement methodology for cost/per diembased Medicaid programs that adhere to state and federal requirements and implement the process related to financial reviews
- Analyze and interpret proposed legislation rule and policy changes to determine programmatic impact to federal funding requests
- Act as a liaison with agency personnel external agencies providers advocates and consumers. Provide advice and recommendations to senior leadership related to audit outcomes and quality assurance findings
- Oversee and recommend the development of improvements in procedures to ensure future compliance and respond to sensitive inquiries and contacts from external stakeholders
- Supervise assigned staff
- Delivering a personalized care experience to more than three million people served.
- Improving care for children and adults with complex behavioral health needs.
- Working collectively with our partners and providers to measurably strengthen wellness and health outcomes.
- Streamlining administrative burdens so doctors and healthcare providers have more time for patient care.
- Ensuring financial transparency and operational accountability across all Medicaid programs and services.

THIS POSITION IS UNCLASSIFIED PER 124.11 (A) 9 OHIO REVISED CODE.
Compensation is as listed on the posting unless required by legislation or union contract.
This position is overtime exempt.
Travel required as needed. Must provide own transportation. Or in order to operate a state vehicle you must have a valid drivers license from state of residence.
