Job Description

WTENTV ABC Albany and WXXATV FOX are participating in the New York State Broadcasters Association Internship program for 2025. Candidates will be chosen to complete a Spring/Summer internship up to 180 hours in which they will be exposed to the full array of career opportunities available in the TV Broadcast industry.

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

Current undergraduate student at least 17 years of age
Resident of New York Stateand/orattending a college in New York State
Interested in a possible career in the broadcast industry
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The Company will make reasonable physical accommodations to facilitate the ability to perform essential job functions.

Thisopportunity provides interns with the chance towitness and experience firsthand the operational procedures of a television station. After being exposed to the various departments in the station the intern will have the opportunity to work with their manager to chose an area of interest for more indepth training. These areas include:

News

Engineering

Production

Creative Services

Sales

To qualify applications for this position must be submitted before April 7 2025.

The pay for this position will be $15.50 per hour.
