National Instruments (NI) is now the new Test & Measurement (T&M) business unit in Emersons portfolio.
Come join our team of Applications Engineers! In this role you will work closely with Test & Measurements sales and business development teams to meet or exceed sales quota by providing technical leadership in qualifying advancing and closing sales opportunities. We are seeking new and recent graduates with a strong technical background and customerfocused mentality to join a team of business and technical leaders who drive new areas of growth for T&M within the Semiconductor/Electronics industries!
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Test & Measurement Applications Engineers spend their time:
- Interacting with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements and recommend appropriate T&M solutions
- Creating proofofconcepts with T&M NI hardware and software for demonstrations to customers
- Building relationships and trust with customers and account managers
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams on product feedback and contribute towards technical initiatives
In your first six months you will receive tailored technical and business training that will prepare you for an AE role serving customers in the Semiconductor / Electronics Industry.

You drill down to root causes to gather relevant information. You research initiatives and try new approaches. You know how to prepare for unexpected outcomes and try different solutions. You convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives.
For this Role You Will Need:
- Bachelor of Science degree with an engineering or computer science concentration
- Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (e.g. Power supplies DMMs Scopes function generators etc.
- Familiarity with highlevel programming language (e.g. C C C# LabVIEW Python etc.
- English language proficiency
- Effective oral written presentation and communication skills
- Effective collaboration skills
- Availability to travel up to 25 of time throughout the Americas region
- Work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of RF communications
- Knowledge of Power electronics
