Job Summary:
The Commis I will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of highquality chocolate and bakery products pastries and desserts in accordance with Aubree Haute Chocolateries standards. The role involves supporting the kitchen team maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of chocolatebased products bakery products desserts and pastries.
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs.
- Ensure all food preparation meets the companys quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per company and food safety regulations.
- Store ingredients properly and assist in inventory management.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with daytoday kitchen operations.
- Assist in plating and presentation of desserts and chocolate products.
- Manage mise en place and ensure station readiness before service.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and skills.
- Handle kitchen equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commis 1 or similar role in a bakery patisserie or chocolaterie.
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Pastry preferred.
- Passion for chocolates desserts and fine pastries.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
