BGS is seeking a Systems Design and Analysis Engineer to support the Avionics/Electrical Ground Support Systems team in Berkeley Missouri. This position will be in Ground Support Equipment in support of F15 (multiple customers) T7 and other Air Force programs. Experience with Supplier StatementofWork Supplier Coordination and requirements tracing are all highly desired.

Position Responsibilities:

• Researches analyzes and compiles basic technical data for company products and systemlevel concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle
• Applies systems engineering processes methodologies and tools to the design of basic system of systems systems and new product development
• Derives and develops basic architectures functional requirements refinements and product designs
• Assists in the integration of technical cost value risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product
• Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams management sales and marketing staff customers and suppliers to meet group organization and company objectives

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science)
• 2 years experience developing requirements for systems engineering processes
• 2 years experience coordinating requirements with suppliers and/or subcontractors
• 2 years experience communicating both written and verbal with public speaking and frequent interactions with seniorlevel management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3 years of experience accurately and productively reviewing commenting resolving and approving technical designs and data packages
• 3 years of experience in avionics troubleshooting
• 3 years of experience with on platform electrical support equipment
