Salary:Seasonal Hourly (NonExempt)
Wage: $14.00 (new) / $15.00 (returning)
Summary:
The Shuttle Ambassador is part of the Guest Services department and reports to the Shuttle Supervisor(s) and Director of Guest Services. The individual will be an ambassador to Lakeside to all guests requiring shuttle service. You are one of the first faces our guests and cottage owners will see. You must like working with people confident upbeat positive actionoriented customer service oriented and hold a valid drivers license.
Applicants must be available to work from midMay through midSeptember and expected to work days evenings weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:
High school graduate with the ability to work with the public and other employees. Must have a valid drivers license and be over the age of 18.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with guests and coworkers.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop climb or balance; specific vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Includes the use of machinery and equipment such as golf cart tram shuttle and minibus. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to wet cold humid hot very hot conditions and will be required to work outdoors.
