Job Description

About the Role:

This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean organized and safe shop environment while ensuring our technicians have access to the tools and resources they need. The Shop Facilities Coordinator is also responsible for facility maintenance vendor coordination and providing backup support to the Parts Department as needed.


What Youll Do:

  • Maintain an organized clean and safe shop and stockroom.
  • Safely handle shipping and receiving duties using a powered industrial truck.
  • Conduct regular facility audits and ensure a safe healthy work environment.
  • Support Field Service Technicians with parts deliveries oil and coolant replenishment and used oil disposal in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist technicians on jobs as needed.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for building maintenance housekeeping and waste management.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility and grounds.
  • Assist the Parts Department with orders inventory management and parts lookups.
  • Support emergency response efforts within and outside company territories as needed.
  • Crosstrain to provide backup support for the Parts Coordinator position as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What Were Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years of related experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
  • Valid drivers license with the ability to obtain DOT medical certification.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (as required by local regulations).
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong integrity urgency and resultsdriven approach to work.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and oncall shifts.
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and environments.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers; Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
  • Mechanical inclination preferred; knowledge of diesel and gas engines is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
