Job Description

Designs develops tests and documents software code. Plans analyzes programs and implements coding practices.
Due to federal contract requirements United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
- Develop standalone tools in Matlab/Python to ingest millions of records and do computational analysis
- Automate creation of testing files via Python
- Assist with programming and automating hardware test lab equipment via Visual Basic
- Design code and debug apps in Visual Basic and Python
- Conduct software analysis and provide recommendations for optimization
- Develop software drivers
- Develop software applications
- Process digital signals
- Develop Client/server applications
- Analyze and implement Legacy and current processor technology
- Analyze and implement Operating systems architectures and interfaces
- Develop code using Assembly and highlevel programming languages
- Reverse engineer software/code
- Develop embedded software
- Communicate status of work
- Peer review software
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Three 3 years of experience in software and firmware design development and test to include writing clear concise functioning and fully commented code and a Bachelors degree in a relevant field of expertise (e.g. Engineering Physical Science Computer Science or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university.
- A Masters degree in a relevant field of expertise may be substituted for two 2 years of experience.
- Four 4 years of additional experience in software and firmware design development and test may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.

- Experience with Visual Basic
- Experience with Python

- Experience with Matlab

$59.63 $80.74 an hour
Pay Range: $59.63 $80.74 per hour*
Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience knowledge skills and competencies; certifications and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the prebenefit gross wage amounts.
