The following positions are available:
Laundry Worker: Ensure continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products.
Porter: Provides an escort transfer transportation and delivery service as requested.
Unit Aide: Responsible for ordering stocking and maintaining all supplies and equipment to meet the needs of patients in their designated work area. Must have completed Grade 12
Utility Worker in Housekeeping/Environmental Services: Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas.
Health Support Aide: Responsible for daily routines of care to support patients/clients with activities of daily living.Must have completed Grade 12.
Utility Worker or Restaurant Worker in Nutrition & Food Services: Works in the patient and retail food service setting.
NS Health Ambassadors: Responsible for promoting and building awareness on how to access care and the services and programs available at NS Health.
Research Student Aide: The Research Student Aide contributes to a particular research study or division by assisting with study administration by providing general administrative support shipping items generating reports from databases and data entry. Must have completed Grade 12 and are currently enrolled in postsecondary studies in an undergraduate or community college program.
