We are a dynamic and growing ecommerce company that is looking to add a seasoned Product Manager to our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product offerings ensuring that our digital presence and content are optimized for seamless customer experiences. If you are passionate about managing product lifecycles and coordinating teams to bring complex projects to life we would love to meet you.
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the endtoend process of a feature life cycle content management stakeholder management and crossfunctional collaboration to ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality. You will be working with engineering marketing and content teams to drive our ecommerce goals forward. This is a unique opportunity where you’ll blend traditional product management with aspects of content management and project coordination.
Product Management: Develop and execute product roadmaps working closely with crossfunctional teams to define features and functionality crucial for driving conversion and growth.
Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders from engineering design marketing data warehouse inventory and other teams to align on goals deliverables and timelines.
Prioritization & Roadmap Planning: Prioritize product features functionalities and improvements based on business needs customer insights and technical constraints. Help drive decisionmaking with databacked insights.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research gather insights and analyze competitor trends to inform product decisions and stay ahead of industry standards.
Content & Asset Management: Oversee the creation and organization and launch of product detail pages ensuring all content and assets are aligned with brand standards and are updated in a timely manner.
Project Coordination: Ensure that the project management team is aligned and that tasks are assigned and tracked to ensure deadlines are met for product launches and content updates.
CMS Management: Manage and coordinate the content updates and product launches through content management systems (Storyblock Shopify or similar). Ensure content is properly displayed and organized for launch.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in workflows to ensure greater efficiency and smoother collaboration across teams.
Experience: 35 years of experience in product management with a proven track record of managing product lifecycles from ideation to launch.
ECommerce Background: While experience in ecommerce or product goods is not required it is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CMS tools such as Shopify or similar (Storyblock knowledge is a plus). Comfortable working with product management and project management tools.
Content Management: Experience in organizing and managing product content and assets ensuring all tasks are tracked and deadlines met.
Strong Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including engineering design marketing and content teams.
ProblemSolving: Ability to identify and address challenges quickly ensuring timely and effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage expectations and deliver clear instructions.
Familiarity with product management methodologies (e.g. Scrum Agile) is a plus.
Experience working in a fastpaced rapidly evolving ecommerce environment.
Prior experience with asset management and content workflow tools.
