Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a courteous and professional waiter/waitress to join our hotel s food & beverage team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to guests in the restaurant bar or room service areas ensuring a pleasant and memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Present menus and provide detailed information on menu items when asked.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area.
Assist in setting up and clearing tables.
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Process guest bills and handle payments accurately.
Upsell additional products when appropriate.
Requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customeroriented with a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work well in a fastpaced environment.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to lift and carry trays or items up to X kg/lbs.

Requirements: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good physical stamina to perform tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols. High school diploma or equivalent is a plus. Work Environment: May work in hotels, hospitals, office buildings, private homes, or other establishments. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
