The Department of Ecology is hiring aClimate Pollution Reduction Program Project Manager (IT Project Management Journey)within the Climate Pollution Reduction Program (CPRP).

The Climate Pollution Reduction Program Project Manager works within the Information Technology Section which provides information tools and services to support Climate Pollution ReductionProgram (CPRP) staff and management in their efforts to stabilize and improve Washingtons environment. As a Project Manager you will be involved in the project management and development of highly visible application development projects used by myriad internal and external users such as Ecology staff or staff from large industrial sources who rely on these applications to report environmental data. Youll lead interdisciplinaryteams of software engineers and environmental scientists to deliver customized software solutions so that CPRP scientists and managers can make sound judgments to protect human health and the environment. Your responsibilities willinclude organizing your project teams developing project plans budgets schedules and directing the of these plans. The complexity of this work involves detailed planning and responding to evolving IT technology and best practices.
