Job Description
Role: Technical Architect
Design and implement scalable eventdriven architectures.
Provide technical leadership to development teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align business goals with technology solutions. Optimize cloud infrastructure and ensure secure development practices.Lead DevOps automation and CI/CD initiatives
Technical Architect responsible for designing implementing and maintaining robust scalable and secure technical solutions.
Solution Design
Develop technical architectures and frameworks that meet business requirements.
Design highlevel structures for software cloud or systems integration projects.
Ensure that architectural decisions align with business goals and technology strategies.
Technology Selection
Evaluate and recommend the bestfit technologies tools and frameworks.
Stay updated on emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
Technical Leadership
Act as a technical advisor for development teams guiding them in the adoption of best practices.
Provide mentorship to developers and ensure adherence to coding and design standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with project managers business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Act as a bridge between business and technology teams.
System Integration
Design and oversee the integration of various systems ensuring seamless data flow.
Address compatibility issues between legacy and modern systems.
Performance Optimization
Monitor and ensure optimal performance of applications and systems.
Identify potential scalability or performance bottlenecks and address them proactively.
Risk Management
Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with architecture and technology decisions.
Establish security protocols to protect systems from vulnerabilities.
Documentation
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including architectural diagrams and system designs.
Ensure clarity and accessibility for technical and nontechnical audiences.
Code Review and Quality Assurance
Participate in code reviews to ensure alignment with the proposed architecture.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the system meets quality standards.
Compliance and Standards
Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Enforce adherence to organizational IT policies.
Additional Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture: If the role involves cloudbased solutions they may design and implement cloud architecture (AWS Azure GCP).
DevOps Practices: Oversee CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code and automation tools.
AI/ML Systems: For projects involving artificial intelligence they may evaluate algorithms and optimize models.
Requirements
API Management & Integration:
Expertise in API Gateway platforms (Kong Apigee AWS API Gateway)
Experience in RESTful API design and development
Proficiency with OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect (OIDC) and SAML for secure API integration
Knowledge of GraphQL for API design
Microservices and eventoriented architecture:
Design and implementation of microservices using Docker and Kubernetes
Devops and Automation
Cloud Architecture:
Proficiency in AWS (EC2 Lambda RDS S3 API Gateway)
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine GKE and Cloud Functions
Azure experience including Azure App Services Azure DevOps and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Programming Languages:
Strong knowledge of backend languages such as: .NET Core Java Node.js and Python
Experience with frontend frameworks: React.js Angular or Vue.js
Architecture Frameworks & Patterns:
Proficient in designing and implementing eventdriven architecture (EDA)
Experience with DomainDriven Design (DDD) and CQRS
Experience in cloud architecture largescale systems and eventdriven architecture
