Preschool Instructor Educational Assistant
Location: Gus Wetter School
Start Date: May 2025 (or earlier)
Clearview Public Schools is looking for a temporary caring and enthusiastic Preschool Instructor Educational Assistant to join the team at Gus Wetter School. This fulltime position (Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will conclude at the end of the 2024/25 school year.
In this role the successful candidate will lead a preschool program for three and fouryearolds creating a safe engaging and inclusive environment that supports their early learning and development. When not teaching preschool they will provide Educational Assistant support within the school and oversee afterschool childcare ensuring a supportive and enriching space for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver ageappropriate lessons and activities
Foster childrens social emotional and cognitive growth
Support classroom learning in other grades as needed
Supervise and engage students in afterschool care
Collaborate with staff and maintain communication with families
Participate in professional development
Preference will be given to candidates with Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Educator certification though training will be provided if needed.
