The Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Mercy University (NY) invites applications for a fulltime tenuretrack position in Computer Science and Cybersecurity to begin September 2025. This position is primarily based at our Manhattan Campus located in New York New York. However for all positions we expect successful candidates to teach at multiplecampuses of Mercy University based upon the needs of the department.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate Computer Science and Cybersecurity classes in data science machine learning artificial intelligence cloud computing distributed computing and big data.

Applicants should send a complete application consisting of a cover letter addressing the qualifications; curriculum vitae; a statement of teaching philosophy that includes a description of the applicants experience with student diversity and working in multicultural environments; contact information for at least three professional references; and copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts (unofficial copies are acceptable for the purpose of application). Examples of scholarship including published work and course curricula are also welcome. Finalists will be asked to submit three current letters of reference.
For tenuretrack positions applicants should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science Cybersecurity Computer Information Systems or a closely related discipline by the appointment date.
