Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible role that can jumpstart your career in an education setting Join TES Staffing and the dedicated team in Greece NY as a floating Food Service Worker. This entrylevel kitchen role is an opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills working with children.
This position is AM only (no nights or weekends! and is a contract to hire opportunity.Excellent benefits offered through the school district once brought on permanently! Pay is $16.50/hr and goes through the end of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Must obtain purchase and pass background check through NYSED.
- Willingness to float to different Greece Central Schools as needed
- Able to perform physical job duties that include walking standing lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to effectively and professionally interact with students faculty and staff
What Youll Be Doing:
- Assist with cafeteria coverage within the Greece Central School District
- Food preparation such as making sandwiches cold plates etc.
- Wash and sanitize pots pans utensils and equipment
- Operate kitchen appliances
- Serve students
- Set up condiments and supplies
- Utilize knife skills
- Operate POS if needed
- Various kitchen duties as needed
- Enjoy worklife balance with daytime hours. No nights or weekends! Monday through Friday availability is preferred daily subbing option alsoavailable.
