Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a BDC Customer Care Specialist to join our growing team! The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to successfully educate customers on our product and feature offerings. The candidate will have to have computer skills in email and texting potential customers. The candidate will have to be reliable and organized. The candidate would also need to have the ability to learn our systems used daily to schedule appointments and organize shop scheduling yet balance the needs of customers for last minute or emergency repairs. The candidate will have to be reliable to cover shifts scheduled as they would be responsible for answering customer questions and directing them in a way that best fulfills their needs for repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and seek out opportunities to deliver a topnotch customer experience from 1st call untilfollow up calls
  • Interact with customers to identify their individual needs and opportunities for new/used cars sales/service presentation
  • Work closely with the Department Managers and other Sales and Service Adviser personnel to ensure sales lead opportunities are accounted for and appropriate notes are made in the CRM
  • Complete phone calls as assigned by the Department Managers
  • Act as a member of the team which includes crosstraining for internet lead and incoming/outgoing telephone sales prospecting roles
  • Stay informed about new products features accessories etc. and their benefits to customers and convey the information to them as needed
  • Attend product and sales training as required by BDC position
  • Attend sales meetings and present creative ideas that can help grow our business and smooth operations as we grow
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in high stress busy times
  • Handle telephone and internet inquiries in an expedient and professional manner fulfilling all the customers needs
  • always be forth coming in direction and advice given to customers when directing them to our dealership
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Sufficient reading skills to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations
  • Strong writing skills to write reports business correspondence procedure manuals advertising copy
  • Presentation skills to share information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public
  • Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions shared in written oral diagram or schedule form
  • Clean driving record & valid drivers license
  • We will train for position but need specific skills to be brought daily
