Job Description
Join a certified Great Place to Work! Consumers Credit Union is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager for our North Waukegan location. We are looking for an experienced retail manager that can build a strong team can lead by example and take ownership to ensure the branch is delivering exceptional service to members.
As anAssistant Branch Manager youll partner with the Branch Manager to lead the branch to excellence. Youll perform in a variety of roles as a banker concierge teller leader mentor auditor and operations expert. Youll ensure the Branch Specialist team maintains expert knowledge provides excellent service and consistently meets CCUs expectations. Success will come easy with the passion excitement and positive energy youll bring to the branch.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- Provide coaching training and feedback to Branch Specialists. Coordinate activities and schedules. Complete management tasks such as delivering Performance Reviews Development Plans and Performance Improvement Plans.
- Assist members with opening various types of accounts assisting with escalated service issues and completing special service requests.
- Oversee and manage branch responsibilities and operational functions like ATM ITM dispatch vault ordering currency regulatory compliance and conducting audits.
- In the absence of the Branch Manager you will be responsible for running the branch.
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalency is required.
- 2 to 5 years of management experience in a retail environment. Financial Services experience is preferred.
- Leadership people management mentoring and coaching skills.
- Serviceoriented professionalism decision making and judgment skills and excellent communication skills are necessary.
- Flexibility to work roughly 45 hours per week between the following hours:
- Monday Thursday: 7:45 am5:45 pm; Friday: 7:45 am6:45 pm; and Regular Saturdays: 8:15 am1:45 pm.
Compensation & Benefits
Budgeted amount for starting salary: $57680 annually annual bonus opportunity
