Job Description

Leadership and Supervision:o Oversee guidance services including academic advising college and career counseling and socialemotional support.o Supervise health services ensuring the delivery of quality nursing care and health education.o Manage the PreEmployment SelfContained Program for students with intellectual disabilities ensuringtailored instructional strategies vocational opportunities and support.o Direct the scheduling processes for special education and guidance counselors to optimize studentsupport.Lead Individualized Education Program (IEP) transitional meetings and Section 504 meetings ensuringcompliance with state and federal regulations.o Oversee the implementation of IEPs and 504 plans collaborating with educators and support staff to meetstudent needs.o Guide and direct DESE compliance reviews Tiered Focus Monitoring and civil rights audits to upholdeducational standards.o Coordinate Special Education Parent Advisory Committees to engage stakeholders in programdevelopment.
