Position Description
The Manufacturing & Deployment Specialist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and partners to build and deliver innovative solutions for customers. This role focuses on the manufacture deployment and operation of VIA pilotscale systems. You will work closely with engineering R&D teams vendors fabricators and customers to ensure the ontime and onbudget development and installation of VIAs pilot systems. This position offers significant growth potential as VIA continues to expand scale systems and broaden its impact.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the engineering team to manufacture inhouse designed pilot systems.
    • Ensure the timely completion of pilot systems.
    • Lead the installation of systems at customer sites including managing logistics deployment and the operation of pilot systems at customer locations.
    • Operate monitor and optimize pilot systems at customer locations and at Via locations. Ensure systems meet performance specifications and achieve KPIs.
    • Apply handson skills to manufacture systems within the prototype assembly space.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve fabrication and construction issues throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide training and support to customers and internal teams on system operation maintenance and troubleshooting procedures

The ideal candidate will have most if not all of the following:

    • 510 years of experience in assembling and deploying complex pilot or larger systems ideally in industrial manufacturing environments.
    • 35 years of handson experience in the manufacture and assembly of equipment skids including piping and pumping systems using standard manufacturing techniques.
    • Basic electrical wiring skills (preferred).
    • Read and interpret assembly drawings wiring diagrams and detailed work instructions
    • Ability to use fork trucks while also understanding rigging of components for assembly/disassembly of process equipment (preferred).
    • Ability to thrive in a collaborative yet informally structured environment.
    • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to perform activities such as stooping typing standing or sitting for extended periods
    • Willingness to travel up to 50 for this role with occasional work required nights/weekends
    • U.S. work authorization is required for this role.
