Description
This position supports service activities with primary responsibility for setting tables; clearing dining tables and bar; refreshing tables; cleaning and sanitizing tables/chairs and booths delivering food orders to guests; assembling and delivering to go orders when necessary; and supporting bar service activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists guests and servers and in a timely and professional manner.
- Cleans and polishes glassware flatware and equipment.
- Removes dirty items from tables cleans and sets tables with silverware glassware and china assemble roll wraps fill water glasses and transport food to guests.
- Supports bar staff with clearing soiled items; restocking ice glassware liquor beer wine and paper supplies.
- Transports dirty dishes/glassware etc. from dining room to kitchen and/or bar.
- Accurately assembles fills and delivers To Go orders when necessary.
- Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas. Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of product and equipment based on expected business volumes and completes set up and break down duties to departmental standard. Sweeps and mops floors.
- Performs all duties on the busser checklist.
- Complies with company local state and national regulations pertaining to food quality cleanliness and sanitation standards alcohol service and safety.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 6 months to 1year related experience in a highvolume high energy food and beverage environment.
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to position self to move about.
- The employee frequently is required to operate and use station tools and equipment; and communicate with guests employees and management.
- The employee must move up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
